Dear PG,
My life revolves around yearbook. I talk about it constantly to the majority of the people around me (not spilling the T about the book, however). I remember freshman year people were getting recruiting e-mails to join scholastic publishing and I didn't receive one -- I was sad about that. But then, you came up to me at my desk, pointed to scholastic publishing, and said I should take it. I would have taken it anyway, but it was nice of you to do that and I appreciate it.
This year in particular came with its own stories and memories. Having only eight people on the staff really tests how much you're able to do with a deadline. However, even with only eight people, I think this year was much more fun than last year, I got to know everyone. I got to hear their stories and experience their quirks. I was able to go on the Disney trip and talk to Katie and Lauren and become friends with them. I talked to Jess and Taylor and joked with them and became friends with them. This staff has been one of my favorites.
I will miss coming to school every black day to talk about my life (and the cutie from work). I looked forward to black days solely because of yearbook. The rest of my black day schedule is horrendous. Pre-calc, then AP statistics, and then chemistry. Basically, the worst schedule there is. However, yearbook made it my favorite day.
I am so happy that I was able to be an editor for this years book. I remember starting it last year and hoping that I could one day be an editor. I made it, I succeeded, and basically became a work of art of myself (just kidding). In all seriousness, I appreciate this class and this year so much because of yearbook. IT brightened my days, it enriched my high school experience, and made my junior year not the worst year of my high school experience. Thank you for everything, I appreciate it so much.
Sincerely,
Liam (also known as Michael)
