Dear PG,
Journalism this year has definitely been an adventure. I learned so much about grammar, about writing, and immaturity than every before. My second year of journalism allowed me to learn about myself and my writing than I ever have before.
Orange wouldn't be as bright without having journalism. There have been annoying instances, there have been troubling situations, and there have been stressful tasks. However, it's also been filled with fabulous memories that I can go look back on and tell my friend from drag queen bingo how I was on the newspaper staff in high school.
I definitely plan on taking journalism my senior year. If I didn't, would I even be myself? I personally do not think so. I do plan on incorporating journalism somehow into my future endeavors. I think I might make a blog, people are telling me they'd read it. Hopefully, I get successful from it and get some money because I love money.
Next year, I hope to write some more important stories. Stories that people actually care about and have an impact on people. I don't want to write a bunch of stories about an update on some app that will go out of style in a year, I want to write about the experiences that people live with.
That's the biggest thing I've learned this year, if you want it, put on your best lace front wig, and go and snatch it. But first, ask people if it's okay because that is important too.
Sincerely,
Liam (also known as Michael)
